What is Biological Clear Aligners?
Biological Aligner is a series of biocompatible, hypoallergenic aligners that are used to gradually shift your teeth into their desired positions. The aligners are switched out about every one to two weeks in order to gradually move your teeth into place. Each set of aligners is custom-made to fit your mouth, and each tray set delivery will be combined with ozone therapy.
Biological Aligner is a great alternative to traditional braces for many patients, and it offers many benefits. One of the biggest benefits is that no one will notice because you are wearing clear aligners. The aligners are also very comfortable, making them a great option for adults and teens. The aligners are also removable, so eating, cleaning your teeth, and special occasions are not a problem.
How Does Biological Aligner Work?
Your holistic dentist, Dr. Cziao, will take digital impressions of your teeth, where it will be used to create a digital 3-D image of your teeth. Then we will map out a precise treatment plan, including the movements of your teeth, and the approximate length of the treatment.
You'll wear each set of aligners for 1-2 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move – little by little, week by week – until they have straightened to their optimal alignment. You'll visit the dental office as suggested by the dentist to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned.
Total treatment time and number of aligners may vary from case to case. We recommend wearing your aligners for 22 hours a day.
